History: Erik met Sarah in high school and instantly fell for her. They ended up getting married, despite Sarah's parents disapproval, and starting a family of their own, having their first Son Skylar. For a short while he lived happily with his wife and raised his son. One day Erik stumbled into a problem with the wrong kind of people, and ended up joining a gang. At first, he hated it, but it didn't take long before it felt like he could never leave that life. He would always go back home when he could, but he didn't want his family to get involved or drag him down. Often only visiting for 24 hours before he ran off again, unable to tell them anything. His inability to follow
rules and orders got him in trouble many times, but his skills and strategies were greatly needed. He moved up in the ranks quickly, soon training and leading the newer members of the group. As the years went by it was slowly wearing him down. He'd thought about returning home many times, to go back and never return, but he couldn't leave his men. Finally the time to go home came again but the man that had went home that night wasn't really Erik. He was worn down and tired having seen to much. His wife began pestering him for an answer as to where he'd been, having no patients and no answers he snapped. It soon turned into an argument. He seen then that he had made the wrong choice, he'd never known how much his wife was hurting when he left her time and time again. Erik was ashamed of the pain he'd caused on the ones he truly had loved. He couldn't go back after that night, and never did. |
